A designer towel warmer we actually like

Designer Towel Warmer

Have you ever noticed that when someone wants a bathroom they go into great detail about the vanity unit or bath they want, but when it comes to a designer towel warmer to match, they glaze over with boredom.

The fact is, in most bathroom designs the radiator is often an afterthought, purchased on the cheap in order to bring a bathroom budget back down to size.

A chrome mixture of horizontal bars fitted to the only wall with nothing on, looks and poor positioning aren't the only thing towel warmers have going against them, designer ones can be expensive too!

You can solve the poor positioning problem by always placing your towel warmer next to your shower or sink. This will reduce the chances of pesky water droplets getting all over your bathroom, reducing the amount of cleaning you have to do (you can find more priceless tips on our recent blog post).

But what about the look?

Pop down to your local shop and you could be forgiven for thinking they all look the same.

Well, it's time we started thinking differently. For a while now there have been some great towel warmer designs coming on to the market that don't just have to be an added extra.

Designer towel warmers like this free standing effect master piece (I found it on the wonderful getgoinggirl.com blog) can even add a little bit of style to your bathroom, over shadowing a bland vanity unit like this!

Considering this bathroom design is actually a computer generated image, I can't help but wonder why they would spend hours creating an expensive LED shower and wonderful towel rail but pair them both with a tiny and frankly boring piece of bathroom furniture!

So the only thing stopping you from achieving a designer bathroom is that issue with over spending on your favourite bath.Well luckily, this new breed of designer towel warmers aren't that expensive either, you can find a very similar looking one to this on the trade radiators website, which unusually for online retailers offers a ten year guarantee too.

I'm sure if it existed this radiator would cost a fortune, hand crafted by Italian master towel warmer makers for hours on end, but that doesn't mean we don't love it; we can all dream!

It will have to go on our list of items that need to be made, along with this space saving shower design.
